Dalmatian Faux Fur Coat

Happy Valentine's Day! Thank you so much for all the lovely tweet and emails on my Him & Her gift list posts, it's so nice to receive such amazing comments. My favourite childhood Christmas presented was a Cruella DeVil Spotty Dalmatian faux fur coat I got in honour of the Glen Close movie. So receiving this coat on Valentine's day made me feel like a child all over again.

I'm so excited to show off my Valentine's present from Top Shop and actually grateful for the cold weather so I can wear it every day. (And in the house, and in bed, and in the shower!) My very lovely boyfriend bought me this gorgeous coat before Christmas and save it for me now - not sure why I couldn't just have more Christmas presents. It feels like a truly classic 1920's fur you would inherit from a relative and it really is as cosy and warm as it looks. I want to call everyone "darling" and drink Prosecco all day! The faux fur is luxuriously soft and as satin lining as well as pockets! (A surprising number of my coats don't have pockets.)

This is another great grab from my New Look Jan sale haul, and I think it works really with leggings and boots but will also work well in the summer with sandals. Unfortunately this out of stock but there is a similar one that I'm possibly thinking of getting. Another January sale find, in time of Valentine's day, was this gorgeous lipstick gloss from Boujois, it has amazing colour stay and is really moisturising.

We had a lovely date night in Leeds on Thursday and Friday as I'm working tonight (- boring) So we got to eat loads of delicious food and have amazing cocktails in my new favourite city! Look out for my post on my trip to Leeds, coming soon.
